An exhibition that reveals the vast repertoire of drawn lettering and typographic works preserved in the Galleria Campari Archive in an unprecedented reinterpretation dedicated to the word and its relationship with image, involving a selection of more than 160 works by artists spanning the history of the 20th century such as Fortunato Depero, Marcello Nizzoli, Sergio Tofano (known as Sto), Giorgio Dabovich and Nicolay Diulgheroff.
The beating heart of the exhibition project and the inspiration for the development of the exhibition is Bruno Munari’s ‘Declinazione Grafica del nome Campari’, the Campari advertising campaign that in 1964 was posted on the platforms of the first Milanese metro line, the 60th anniversary of which falls this year.
